Phone star codes, the full list

You can set up most calling features straight from your handset by dialling these star codes, no need to log in to the customer portal. Wherever you see xxx, enter the phone number the feature should use.

Prefer not to memorise codes? Dial *99 and the voice menu will walk you through the options, or manage everything online in the customer portal.

Forwarding and Locate Me

Auto attendant

Conferencing

Code What it does
*40 Activate conferencing for your number
*41 Deactivate conferencing for your number
*42 Access your own conference room

Group pickup

Code What it does
*88 Group pickup
*89 Directed group pickup
*89x Directed group pickup for a specified number

Everything else

Code What it does
*61 Call waiting, activate
*81 Call waiting, deactivate
*69 Call return, ring back your last caller
*66 Redial your last dialled number
*51 Hear who last called you
*37xxx Set an authorisation PIN code
*37 Remove your authorisation PIN code
*74x Program speed dial (x can be 2 to 9)
*52 Toggle voicemail on or off
*54n Set the call diversion timer, where n is the number of seconds
*55 Access the voicemail portal
*99 Voice portal menus, guided setup by phone

During a call

Code What it does
## Blind transfer, send the call straight through
#0 Attended transfer, speak to the person first
*1 Start or stop a manual recording of the call
*0 Disconnect from the call

Checking your voicemail

There are two ways to pick up your messages:

  1. By phone: dial *55 from your Talk2Me phone to enter the voicemail portal. Away from your phone? Use remote access (see the PIN codes above) to dial in.
  2. Online: log in to the customer portal and open your messages. You can also have voicemails emailed to you as audio attachments, set this up under your voicemail settings, or ask us and we will switch it on for you.
