Activating your Talk2Me Mobile SIM
Setting up a new Talk2Me Mobile SIM is quick. Here is what to do.
Insert the SIM
- Power off your phone.
- Insert the SIM in the correct size slot (most SIMs pop out to nano, micro or standard size).
- Power your phone back on.
Activation
We activate your SIM as part of setting up your plan. Once it is active you should see signal and be able to make a call or send a text. If you asked to keep your existing mobile number, activation completes when the number transfer finishes, which can take a little time.
Mobile data settings
Most phones set up mobile data automatically. If data is not working:
- Check that mobile data is switched on in your phone settings.
- Restart your phone.
- If it still will not connect, the APN settings may need to be entered. Contact us and we will give you the correct details for your network.
